Season 1 Episode 1
I saw a single TikTok, and now I'm a wannabe blogger.
So, I am completely new to this whole 'blogging' thing. I'm just the biggest yapper, and I thought, "Hey, I could definitely do this!" No one will likely see this, and that actually makes me happy, since I can say whatever I want without worrying about how someone may react. I will definitely be messing with how I want the layout and what I will post. I will also post about my latest reads (or re-reads), how my life has been, and just random thoughts I may have had that week.
Latest Read
The most recent books I have read are Mated to the Monster by Sarah Spade, Rowe by Dylan Page, and A Soul to Keep by Opal Reyne. All of them were fantasy romances, but like not your typical fantasy romance. It is more- how would I put it- unique fantasy. Also, I tend to always spoil books even when I don't mean to, so read the rest of this section at your own discretion.
In Mated to the Monster, it was a human girl and a demon being. She summoned him when reading a true love spell of sorts and is completely freaked out. The whole time she is blabbering, and he is just there in his little circle fully in love with her. It was a bit fast-paced since in the beginning half she is just trying to get rid of him, and then boom she lets him out of the circle and is constantly thinking about jumping his bones. It was a solid 3.5/5 for me, but it was definitely interesting since I finished it in a day.
Rowe was a re-read for me. I had just gotten bored and saw it in my library and decided to re-read it. It is a caveman x human girl type of book. She was on some camping trip and then something happened- I can't remember what exactly happened. She then gets rescued by or something by Rowe. The whole time this guy is just going on and on about 'mate' and trying to get her pregnant. She is all about running away, but when he decides to let her go, she gets sexually assaulted- yep, I know, crazy. He then comes back and saves her. Blah blah blah they have sex, and she is pregnant. It is a solid 2.5/5 but is a bit entertaining. I can't say it's good since it is all just so cringe and poorly written.
A Soul to Keep is the latest book I am reading. I am only about 100 or so pages into it, but so far it is decent. She is a sort of troubled and disliked girl in her town, and he is some demonic creature. He puts some sort of safety spell on her village every 10 years but needs a bride every time. She so happens to be the latest offering, and he likes her so far since she does not fear him too much.
As you can tell, I have been on a bit of a fantasy romance trip. I just love how unrealistic these books are and how fully devoted the main male characters are to their women right from the start.

My current media/entertainment obsessions are:
Music: Sincerely, by Kali Uchis- Honestly this album is a hit or miss for everyone. My top favorite songs have to be Silk Lingerie and ILYSMIH. They are literally like straight crack to your brain. When listening to them it feels as if I am being hypnotized by her voice and it just makes you feel so many raw and pure emotions in a way.
Shows/Movies: Kim's Convenience on Netflix- This is a re-watch for me, but definitely a good show. It is just good for background noise or if your attention span is short, this is the show for you. It is pretty entertaining and funny but also has slight realistic touches of being the child of immigrant parents.
Games: Fairy Village from the App Store- This is one of those games that I can just lose track of time when playing. I have it on my iPad and it does not require WIFI. It is a cute little game where you can decorate your village and dress up the villagers. You can also send up to like four different villagers on quests to earn money and extra little stuff to improve your village.
Latest Thoughts
Politics and World-ly Thoughts: I have recently been thinking a bit about Trump supporters. Like- how can you claim to be a devoted Christian but vote and basically worship a guy that goes fully against that. If you don't agree with me on that- hop off my page. I might as well let y'all know where I stand before I am later accused of keeping it a secret or switching sides; I am all for pro-choice, I am a Catholic woman who loves and practices her faith, I don't think it is a crime to be a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am for equal rights, I don't know much about the ecosystem and science but I do believe we are harming our world horribly, and I think our current president is an absolute pig. Okay so back to current events, I am really liking our new pope and think he is going to move our church in a good direction while still keeping our traditional values and beliefs. Another person I am slightly vibing with is the president of Mexico. I've heard some sketchy stuff about her, but I think it's amazing that suck a traditional country got its first female president.
Toilet Thoughts: Why is it that when I go use the restroom, usually to poop, I always get the hottest guys on my TikTok? Like I am suddenly distracted and am no longer able to poop in peace, king. Also, did y'all see that The Wizard Liz got cheated on by some guy and she is four months pregnant?!??!?!?!?!!? INSANE! A total of 20/10 gets cheated on by a solid 3/10 was not on my 2025 bingo card if I must be honest. Another current thing floating through my mind is that this guy will slide up on some stories of mine on Instagram and we'll chat for a bit, but he hasn't actually made a move to do anything else. I obviously don't chase men, but I am starting to get a bit annoyed by it since it feels like he is wasting my time.
